On May 7, 2002, Carole King and her daughter, Louise Goffin, were the Tonight Show's musical guests. After their performance, Jay Leno asked Louise what it was like growing up with Carole for a mother. Louise talked about traveling through England on a bus with James Taylor and Joni Mitchell, and said that Joni "drew pictures of my sister and me."
