Several alert JMDLers noticed the use of River during an episode of this spy show. The song plays after CIA agent Sydney Bristow discovers that her father, also an agent, has lied to her, telling her that her repentant KGB-agent mother wants to kill her. She also finds out that her father brainwashed her and programmed her to be a spy when she was six years old. The brainwashing scheme was known as Project Christmas.

Now that's a dysfunctional family!
