In a post to the JMDL dated March 1, 2001, Bob Muller wrote: Just got back from seeing a play called "Collected Stories", about a young student/writer who learns from and then begins to surpass her mentor. Anyway, towards the end, she's reading an excerpt from her soon-to-be-published novel, and when she mentions her first book of short stories, there's some applause, to which she responds... "I feel like it's a Joni Mitchell concert...Play Circle Game!"
