After traveling in some vehicle to the Midwest, Patti wrote:

I saw Swing Vote last summer (with my son and daughter-in-law in Illinois, coincidentally!). At one point in the movie (the most poignant and sad, in my opinion) the little girl [Molly], finally finds her biological mother. She is a drug-addicted rock-star-wannabe. The cover of Joni's album BLUE is featured prominently in the background while all this is revealed inside her little trailer.
