1980.07.19 Vorpal Gallery Laguna Beach, CA

Joni attended the opening of an exhibit featuring her paintings
as well as those of John Mayall, Klaus Voormanm, Ron Wood
and Commander Cody. These paintings were featured in the
book Starart, designed and edited by Debby Chesher.
The exhibit was on display from July 19-Aug. 1.

I missed the opening of the exhibit, but I did see it after it opened--It was great to see Joni's visual art. Definitely worthy of a show, regardless of her musical accomplishments and fame. But, because people know and love her music, the art has a more personal meaning to them.
